Noeline Husbands.
With more than 20 years in practice as a Counselling Psychologist, it has been my privilege to walk alongside women seeking fulfillment in marriage, work, and themselves. I understand that journey because I have lived it.
I entered the Public Service at 18, married young, and soon had the life I had been taught to want. Even then, I knew something vital was missing.
Nine years into my marriage, everything changed. At a church I had been invited to visit, I heard these words as if they were spoken directly to me: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” That night, I was born again—not striving, not condemned. Free.
Years later, I left a senior Public Service role that looked like success, because I was no longer aligned. The uncertain season that followed led me to sit with people in their brokenness. Compassion was not enough. I needed to be equipped. That is how I came to counselling psychology—and to this work.
Now, celebrating 57 years of marriage and a lifetime of walking with others, I help high-achieving women make the same shift I did—from achievement to alignment, from striving to becoming.
Transformation doesn't come from doing more.It comes from becoming someone new, rooted in who God says you already are.
